Microsoft Establish Cooperation With Nokia


Microsoft Corp.. and Nokia Corp.. has announced a partnership, with the mobile version of Microsoft Office for Nokia smartphones. Microsoft Business Division, or MBD, including Office products including Exchange, SharePoint, Unified Communicator, and so on. While Nokia Device including all the product's handsets and smartphones is the Finnish company.


Under the Microsoft-Motorola alliance, the presence of Office 2010 will be applied in the platform Nokia Symbian S60 smartphones. According to Jack Gold, analyst independent mobile Office 2010 may also be run on a mobile Linux operating system, Maemo, which also support Nokia. The movement of the Microsoft strategy to make Office initially only for the Windows Mobile operating system, to be able to compete with RIM BlackBerry, and Apple iPhone, Nokia Symbian phones too.


With the Office 2010, Microsoft plans to release a Web-based Office that can run on different web browsers, including Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer. Web-based Office 2010 will be presented free of charge. While other companies, such as DataViz, with the Office software-to-Go, which allows users to read and write Office documents on Windows Mobile smartphones.


If Office 2010 was released in the first half of this year, the Office 2010 will be applied to a Nokia mobile phone. To support the mobile operating system platform, Microsoft has licensed ActiveSync email push technology to Nokia.
